Hi! Great blog ... and it's wonderful what you're doing for man's best friend! I took a look at an early post ... the one, in 2006, where you introduce your "foster kids" ... the pictures are great ... what a happy family! Do you still have Sally? How long, typically, do you foster a dog ... until they find a permanent family?
If you don't mind, I'm going to follow you and add you to my blog roll. Thanks for sharing your incredible journey!

This blog has completely changed its focus from daily blatherings about MY life to the saving of DOGS' lives.
It happened one day...I was searching craigslist for a car and hit the PET link. I saw the need to save Red Listed dogs from the N. Central Shelter in Los Angeles and I got Sally.
...I haven't looked back
Want To Help?
All the expenses for the dog rescue effort is paid by those involved. They all work full time jobs.
I've have been amazed at their passion for the dogs. A donation of even $10 helps buy supplies like food, medical treatment, and boarding fees. All foster parents donate their time and effort.
.
Thanks!
..

Yes...still have Sally. Ironically, I have a call in for her today. Not too sure about the placement however...time will tell.
Typically, I was averaging about 2 weeks per dog, but Sally was a special case if you read her bio and George as well.
That 2006 post is really dated around Mar 08...I had to use old pages before I figured out how to date posts.
Thanks for blog rolling me.
I try to paint word pictures as well as lots of pics to see rescue dogs as more than just the "leftovers" of society.
I also need donations now & then as well...everything is out of pocket and I am out of work right now. Such is life...
Look forward to your blog posts as well.
Love your site! Have added you to our blogroll so we will visit often!
smooches from the akitas :-)
